Party Look! Silver Eye + Volume and Waves + Glam Outfit

Hey guys! This is a complete hair/makeup/outfit look for any type of party!

The makeup is a very matte, all over polished look. The eyes are a bit frosty and center around the main colors, silver and gray. They are a bit smokey on the outer edges but to not go too dramatic, use a charcoal instead of a black. Finish the look off with rosey pink lips for soft contrast.

The hair works for a casual party or even a formal party. The waves are not quite beachy but they're not structured and super formal. This can be achieved with a regular curling iron or even a curling wand. Just wrap the hair around the wand instead of clamping it then turning and curling. That's how you achieve this wavy effect with added volume.

Finally, the outfit is really versatile. Of course, black and white are staple colors in any wardrobe, and a simple black mini skirt is perfect for any party! By mixing different colored tops with a black mini you can create tons of looks for any occasion. I chose this black and white top to go with the gray makeup and my heels!
Not only is this whole look very cute, IT IS EASY! Hope you all enjoy!

Dramatic Frosty Blue Eye Look

This look is great for a formal winter party! Perfect to match with your favorite blue cocktail dress. The mix of blue and darker grey color gives this look a bit of a softer dramatic edge, as opposed to a darker black smokey eye. You still have color and drama! The blue mascara give this look a nice break from the norm too. Enjoy.

Big Volume and Curls Hairstyle

Hey gals! This look is great for those who don't want to use any more heat on their hair because we all know that can be damaging. This does require a little more time but all you really need is the products shown, and about 20 minutes to put in the curlers. Then just sit back for an hour and a half to two hours and voila! Instant volume, instant curls!

The Dreaded Dark Circles - Solutions?

Dark circles! Every girl's nightmare! But dark circles can happen for different reasons so you might be able to do something about it!

First and foremost, get enough sleep! Lack of sleep has a lot to do with under-eye dark circles. When you're asleep tissue fluid flows from your blood all over your body, so when you go longs periods without sleep the fluids don't flow as well! That's why sometimes if you go without sleep you might find yourself looking a little pale. A good 7 to 8 hours should do the trick. If you can't get to bed early or sleep in, try taking a refreshing nap.

Second, make sure you're drinking lots of water. Water not only hydrates your skin and improves your blood flow but it can also help maintain some elasticity under your eyes! We've all heard of the frozen green tea bags and cucumber slices over the eye treatments. Those are great for reducing swelling and bags but water does the same thing, but on the inside, where it matters more and makes all the difference!

Thirdly, sometimes people have dark circles because their skin is really light and since the skin under your eyes is already much thinner and frail from your other skin, the blood vessels are more visible, creating that deep purple look. Pretty much all you can do then is just use the power of makeup!

How to Conceal Your Dark Circles with Makeup!

First, use a neutral  foundation stick that is about 1 or 2 shades lighter than your regular skin tone. Apply this under your eyes and in the corners where you can get dark spots. On top off that you'll use a certain type of concealer depending on the color of your dark circles. If your under eye circles are more on the blue side, using a more orange based concealer. If not, any type of yellowish concealer will work. A trick that many people use is to not just conceal right under the eyes because then your makeup will look obvious. Blending really well down into the sides of your nose can help create a seamless look.

Tutorial will be up soon!

Celebrity Inspired Fall Outfits!

Blake Lively Look by FYBeauty featuring a green coat

Blake Lively is always fashion forward. Now that fall has begun and the days are getting chillier it's time to break out the sweaters and boots! Boots like these are so in style this season. Pairing them with a cute, long warm coat go really well together so you can stay warm AND fashionable.

Kim Kardashian Look

This outfit is really cute and can work for either daytime and also for a night out! By matching the color of the boots and the oversized sweater you create an outfit that really works. For this one, you can't be afraid to go "too matchy-matchy". That's the point! Try other colors besides purple, like burgundy or dark green.

Lauren Conrad Look

Flannel is a girls best friend during the cooler days. They feel like light sweaters and look good on anyone! Try a fun color like LC's teal or try yellow or bright pink! By tucking the shirt into some jeggings (which are SOO in style this season) you create a more polished look. The shoe possibilities with this outfit are endless. Try some suede boots or even flip flops if the weather permits, but I feel like some cute generic moccasins would look really comfy and work well with this type of outfit. Try different things out and see what works best for you!

Toner?

A lot of girls don't know what toner is!

A good non alcoholic toner can actually be a great part of your skin care routine. While it's not necessary every single day, it's great to use in the mornings before moisturizing.

When you wash your face in the mornings, the water disrupts the natural pH levels in your face. Toner helps even out the pH so your moisturizer can work better.

Most toners work in simple steps. Grab a cotton ball, apply toner (no more than how much nail polish remover you'd apply to a cotton ball) then apply to your face in upward motions, concentrating on your cheeks, forehead and T-Zone! Let air dry for better results. You might feel a tingle or you might feel your pores getting smaller causing your skin to feel tighter and more hydrated at the same time. Then apply your favorite moisturizer.

Pond's Dry Skin Cream The Caring Classic Rich Hydrating Skin Cream 10.1 oz is a really great moisturizer for anytime of the day. I apply it in the mornings and sometimes at night. My grandma swears on using this since she was young and she still has really nice skin!

Also one of the best toners that I have used is Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner 8.5 oz   because it's alcohol free and wont damage or dry out your skin like lots of toners do.

If you're specially oily in the summer and want to update your skin routine, toner may be just what you're looking for!
